Hello! I'm 8 days old and everybody loves me!

Sir Cuteness was my little model the other day. He was totally workin' it in my new hat don't you think? And what an easy, gentle natured little guy. Lucky mom and dad that's for sure.

Gone Fishin'

The top picture totally cracks me up. I just wanted his mom to hold him so I could get my lights all set up, but as soon as he saw that fish, he was ready to go for a swim. Only 6 months old but so smart. And that red hair!!! SO CUTE !

Photographer's Kids get bored REAL fast!

My daughter had this idea to focus on the bluebonnets while they played kung fu in the background. I didn't think much of it until I got home and started going through the images. Kept me laughing for awhile.

Beautiful Spring Day

LUCKY!

We had to reschedule a few times due to weather but finally got a nice day for family portraits outside. I was a little worried when I saw the rumbling storm clouds moving our way but somehow it held off long enough to get these two sweet little girls with their mommy and daddy. And as we drove home.....the rain began to fall. LUCKY!

New Backdrops!

I've got 3 really cool new fabric backdrops in the studio! They work with so many colors and outfits and chairs...I love them! Just look how cute "K" and her Easter dress look on this one.....yeah yeah, ok, she'd look cute on any backdrop. :)

Princess Buttercup

Anyone ever see the beloved 80's flick "The Princess Bride"? Well I don't know if it's because I have seen that movie a million times or if I just feel bad for the Buttercups for having to share springtime with the famous Bluebonnet....whatever the reason, the Buttercup is my favorite spring flower. I think they are so delicate and girly. Some of my favorite pictures of my children are on a hillside completely covered in buttercups by Lake Benbrook. Too bad I don't have them in digital form (that was back in prehistoric film days), or I'd post them right now.

Little "R" was just about the most adorable kid ever. She took a little convincing to tromp through the weeds but in the end, I think we got some real treasures. As I was looking through her images I kept coming back to the one with the cute little head tilt. I knew I had seen that before. Check out her little head tilt a year ago, hehe, isn't she just the cutest thing ever!

Kisses for Mommy

Little "L" came in for her one year portraits the other day. As is usual with 12 month olds, we had our running shoes on and broke a serious sweat trying to keep her in one place for more than 2 seconds at a time. This little one is a nut! Just look at what we got when we said "give Mommy kisses"....funny girl. We did manage to get a ton of super cute images of her during our "2 second" pitstops. And we got our workout in for the day!
