2 1/2 Year Old Portraits Keller Family Photographer

This is by far one of my favorite kiddos to photograph, right up there with the Kolschein girls. She has the most adorable facial expressions and for being so little, she really does well with all the outfit changes and such. We managed to get her 2 1/2 year old portraits as well as a few holiday portraits as well. The family portraits are not being blogged because that's their Christmas card so it has to be a surprise! BTW, do you love my new hat???

Sunshine at last..... DFW Senior Portraits

We got rained out a few weeks ago so it was nice to finally get some sunshine for "T's" senior portrait session. Thanks for tromping through the muddy creek and especially for waking up so early! You are a real trooper kiddo!

I'm in love with the FedEx guy! DFW Family Photography

I'm in love with the FedEx guy!.....and he knows it too! Whenever I hear his big loud truck turn onto my street, I run to the fridge and grab him a drink and a snack from the kids school lunch supply box. He loves me too. It's a great relationship....I give him tasty treats and he gives me stuff like THIS! A box full of beautiful canvas gallery wraps. It's Christmas in the Eastman home! Every time I get a canvas from my FedEx guy, I put it on the mantle and stare at it for a whole day before I decide to call the client and tell them it's arrived. I can't help it, it's just so painful to say my goodbyes. At least I know they are going to good homes that will love and cherish them forever. sniff, sniff.

Today 3 canvas gallery wraps arrived in one order. I thought I'd post a couple of pictures because they are good examples of the choices you have. The sizes are 20x30, 16x20 and the little one is 8x12. The big one and little one have images that wrap all around the edges. The 16x20 has a solid color for the sides (we grabbed a blue from her jean jacket). The two big wraps are 1 1/2" deep and the little one is 3/4" deep. Canvas prints can be in any size you like. I have also had clients order black and white and sepia prints which also turn out really nice.

Ask to see samples next time you are in the studio.

Rained out! Dallas Fort Worth Senior Photographer

At some point last night we realized that it just was not going to stop raining. And we had such great ideas for "T's" outdoor senior session this morning. So we headed indoors and got some quick studio shots. I just wanted to post a few quick ones that I love....stay tuned for the outdoor shots next week!

Big Sis, Little Sis. Dallas Fort Worth Children's Photographer

Two beautiful sisters.....one a little spunky monkey with the cutest smile ever, and the other a regal princess (doesn't big sis just look like she should have a crown of jewels on her head? Seriously the prettiest thing ever!). And to top it off, their mom had a car load of the best outfits for her girls! Hats, scarves, leggings, big chunky sweaters....so much fun.

Luck of the Irish! DFW Texas Maternity Photography

Some people really do have all the luck. Remember this couple? I photographed their wedding down in Galveston a few years ago. The night before our sunrise photo shoot it rained, creating the most beautiful storm clouds for our sunrise session on the beach. (they are on the together section of the website gallery) LUCKY! So last night when it started to rain I knew they would have a beautiful sunrise for her maternity shoot.
Maybe it's the Irish name they are giving the baby (and the fact that they do have Irish heritage) but they really did luck out with these AWESOME clouds!
You have to work sooooo fast with sunrise and sunset sessions. As you can tell in these images, the light changes minute by minute. But I think I really like the variety we got. Isn't she a cute first time mommy? Can't wait to meet their baby!

Baby number 3.... DFW Maternity Photography

I know what you're thinking....and I agree, it's just not fair! She's at the end of her 3rd pregnancy and looks like this?! Seriously not fair! We had a lot of fun trying different outfits and backgrounds and poses. She humored me by doing the baby initial....they really don't have a name picked out yet so we picked a few "possible" baby name initials. (although the name she's thinking about for this letter is my FAVORITE!)
